It\u2019s easy to look out at the world
and feel like something\u2019s off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Like something that used to make sense\u2026
doesn\u2019t quite land the same way anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
People talk about it in different ways.
I hear things like like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“What’s happened to the world?”
“People just don\u2019t seem to care anymore.”
“Something has been lost.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ve heard all of that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ve felt some of it too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But I\u2019m not sure it\u2019s that simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At some point, I started to notice something else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not about what people are\u2026 but about how we\u2019re connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For most of human history,
we lived in small groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not as an idea\u2014
just as a reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You knew the people around you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You saw the impact of what you did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Your choices didn\u2019t disappear into a system therefore they stayed close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And so did the consequences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That\u2019s what I mean by \u201ctribe\u201d here.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Not a label. Just a smaller circle \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n Something changes when that circle grows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Responsibility spreads out. \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n Not because people changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Because the structure did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n A person wouldn\u2019t walk up to a 2,000-year-old tree But inside a system\u2014 \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n We\u2019re not bad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We\u2019re just less accountable in large numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n That doesn\u2019t remove responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It just makes it easier to lose sight of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n And when that happens, lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Or powerless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Or disconnected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n Not because something is broken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Because something became harder to see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n This isn\u2019t about fixing that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019s just something I\u2019ve been noticing and thinking about and decided to put these ideas out there. \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n I wonder if re-establishing smaller, more connected circles \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n Not as a system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Just as something human.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sometimes clarity doesn\u2019t come from answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Just from seeing the shape of things \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n Stay with that for a moment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" It\u2019s easy to look out at the worldand feel like something\u2019s off. where you feel seen,
and your actions still matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\nWhat Happens When Your Circle Grows?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Decisions feel further away.
Impact becomes harder to feel directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\nAccountability Dissolves in Numbers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
and cut it down without hesitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
with roles, pressure, and distance\u2014
that same person might not feel connected
to the outcome at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
it\u2019s easy to feel\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Simply to be there.<\/p>\n\n\n\nWhat If?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
might make things feel a little clearer again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
a little differently.
Maybe we just need to find our tribe.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
